Join us for the 2014 Hawai'i Clean Energy Day!

Join us for the 6th Annual Hawai‘i Clean Energy Day on July 22, 2014. This year’s program is an exciting one, beginning at 9:00am and ending at 4:45pm. A Pau Hana Power Party will follow the event - a great opportunity for networking.

This year's program will feature:

  1. Update reports from the state, counties, utilities, business, education, and renewable energy organizations on what they have accomplished in advancing clean energy during the past year and their future plans.
  2. Special guest speakers include Jim Lazar (Senior Advisor for the Regulatory Assistance Project) who will speak on opportunities for clean energy development in Hawaii and Jay Ignacio (President of Hawaii Electric Light Company) who will speak on utilities of the future.
  3. Expert panel discussions with speakers from government, private industry, and nonprofits will examine our renewable energy future, clean transportation, getting the utilities' act together, and implementing clean energy.

During the expert panel discussions, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the Q&A sessions, and to vote on action points to prioritize what needs to be done to advance clean energy. Be sure to have your smart phones and/or tablets ready as we are featuring a new interactive conference technology, LiveSift.
