1. OPENING LETTER
*******************************************
Biodiesel fuel is fast gaining international momentum. There are new biodiesel fuel stations, new manufacturing facilities and an ever-increasing demand for biodiesel. I recently had the honor of speaking at a Cape Cod Earthday event organized by the Cape and Islands Self-Reliance Corp (http://www.reliance.org). I was thrilled to see the Cape community well on their way toward using a 20% biodiesel blend (aka B20) for their home heating units, vehicles, and boats. There is even a whale-watching tour company investigating the use of biodiesel for their diesel-powered ship! Next stop is New York City this Earthday where I will speak at Adelphi University to hundreds of college and high school students from around Long Island. Keep sending in your great biodiesel stories, photos, and info. Now on with the good news.
